Whether you're new to Medicare or comparing plans during open enrollment, we make it easy to understand your choices. Some choose a Medicare Advantage plan for its all-in-one simplicity, while others opt for a Supplement (Medigap) and Prescription Drug Plan to customize their coverage beyond Original Medicare. Supplement plans are designed to work alongside Original Medicare (Parts A & B)—so if you haven’t enrolled yet, you can get started at SSA.gov.
Compare local Medicare Advantage plans with extra benefits like dental and vision.
Find Medigap plans in Oregon to help cover costs that Original Medicare doesn’t.
Explore Part D plans that cover your medications and preferred pharmacy.
Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people age 65 and older, as well as younger individuals with certain disabilities or end-stage renal disease (ESRD). If you’re ready to enroll, you can sign up for Medicare Part A and Part B through the Social Security Administration. The application can be completed online, and premiums can be automatically withheld from your Social Security benefits.
Before you apply, you’ll need your Social Security number, current or past health insurance details, and (if signing up for Part B) a valid email address and your existing Medicare number.
Use the official Medicare.gov tool to find and compare doctors, specialists, and facilities that accept Medicare. Whether you need a primary care provider, rehabilitation center, or dialysis clinic, this tool helps you explore Medicare-approved options near you.
